  • Training in Chemical Imbalances In The Brain:

When there is a chemical imbalance of the neurotransmitters in the brain, these neurotransmitters do not function well which can cause mood disorders like anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, schizophrenia, ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyper Activity Disorders). From history and blood tests it is possible to know if there is chemical imbalance and appropriate treatment can be given.

Natural modalities of treatments have shown promising results in the treatment of chronic pain.

  • Training in Facial rejuvenation and acupuncture: Facial Rejuvenation works by improving blood flow to facial muscles and tissues, removes toxins, improves oxygenation to the skin cells, helps with collagen formation. Hence decreases formation of wrinkles on face, minimizes existing wrinkles, tighten the skin and improves skin tone, lifts saggy skin in a very natural way.

  • Training in Reiki Energy Healing: Dr. Hassan believes healing involves healing of the whole person; body, mind, and spiritual healing. Hence she may incorporate Reiki healing in her mode of treatment for those people who wish to incorporate Reiki.

  • Ontario Prescribing and Therapeutic Examination: After passing the prescribing exam, now she is able to prescribe certain medications like Bioidentical Hormones (BHRT) and vitamin injections.

About Naturopathic Medicine:

Naturopathic Doctors are primary care practitioners who identify and treat a wide array of health conditions in patients of any age, using natural therapies. Naturopathic medicine can benefit most health conditions by incorporating the use of dietary supplements, herbal remedies, lifestyle counseling, clinical nutrition, acupuncture and more. Your naturopathic doctor will use a combination of these therapies in order to customize a treatment plan to fit your needs.

Naturopathic Medicine is a distinct system of primary care that addresses the root cause of illness or disease and promotes health and healing using natural therapies. NDs support and stimulate the body’s ability to heal itself, focusing on prevention and using natural substances and treatments. The primary goal of naturopathic treatment is to address the cause of illnesses, rather than simply treating or suppressing symptoms. In other words, NDs concern themselves with the “why” as well as with the “what” of an illness or disease.
